Congrats to Educational Partner, Chris Hanson, Westlake High School's 2020 Educator of the Year!   We are so thankful for his amazing work with our students and teachers during this year of technological adventures. A job well done while on campus and remotely.

2019-2020 Speaker Series has returned via Zoom! Last Thursday we covered Internet Safety for Children and Families and today we addressed Managing Stress and Anxiety During Quarantine. Get handouts, watch videos and listen to podcasts from previous Speaker Series here.  As always, don't hesitate to reach out to any WHS counselor if you and/or your child is needing support right now.

Seniors

• As you are receiving scholarship offers, please report them on this form (due by May 1). The information you provide is part of the graduation program, and we tally the total dollar figure of scholarships offered to the class to share at graduation.
• May 1st is still National College Signing Day ~ stay tuned for a link to build a virtual college banner.

Juniors

• Part Two in our five-part Guidance Series is now available. Find all videos here. Part Three will come out next Thursday.
• Since the annual National College Fair held at the Palmer Events Center each spring was cancelled, you can instead attend a four-day virtual college fair (April 20-23) with lots of information sessions (click here to see the schedule/topics and to register for panels that look interesting to you).

AP Students 

• If you are planning to take this year's AP exam, you need to log in to myap.collegeboard.org to be sure the email address you provided is one that is active and that you check regularly - CollegeBoard will send information and the exams themselves to that email address only.  Once you've logged in, you can view your email (and update it if necessary) from Account Settings.
• If you want to cancel your exam(s), you can still do so by emailing AP Coordinator Ms. Sauer at hsauer@eanesisd.net. You will also receive a refund until the start of exams.  

PTO Scholarships

Thank you to those students who applied for our PTO Scholarships. We look forward to reviewing your applications. It is always a tough choice with so many students who give so much of their time and talents to our community. Keep it up, Chaps!

WHS PTO Staff Award 2020
