STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK

We are SO thankful for our WHS teachers and staff. And to our PTO for all the support throughout the year, stepping it up during this crazy time, AND showing over-the-top love with extra special celebrations during Staff Appreciation Week.
Gift card raffles every day. And today...WOW!!!!!
A Drive-Thru family lasagna/salad meal pick-up (from our community partner, Marye's), coupled withTiff's Treats and gift bags, delivered by an amazing PTO Staff Appreciation Team (headed up by Christine Machon - THANK YOU, Christine, for the idea and MAKING IT HAPPEN!!!!) and cheered on by Mr. Ramsey, all Assistant Principals and office staff. Complete with gloves, face masks, and social distancing, of course! Nearly 90% of our staff showed up and felt the love. Truly amazing. And thank you Chap Club, for donating gifts to the event!
It was heartwarming (and needed!) to see everyone (and many passenger pets, too!). Enjoy the pictures below and just one of the endless email thank you's from teachers and staff:
"I just picked up my food, and I’ve gotta say, it brought tears to my eyes to see the signs, the waving, have the cheerful greetings and picture the smiles under those masks. Thank you guys so much for doing this. What a joyful experience. I’m thankful for all of you."

Hello, Chap Families! It is Staff Appreciation Week! Our SA Committee has been doing raffles all week for gift cards for our staff. We have had three winners each day! Today was our big event! We usually host a meal at school each month to treat our WHS Staff. This month is no different. Today, our staff drove up to the campus to pick up a Marye's Lasagna, salad and some other treats.
We are so thankful for our Staff who have pivoted and worked so hard to take care of our students. Thank you, WHS Staff! We appreciate you!!!

We are doing a virtual Senior Parade on our FB and IG pages, so please follow and celebrate this class of 2020.
WHS Senior parents can email westlakeptopresident@gmail.com so that we can shout-out to your Senior. Please send us Name, picture, plans for next year, and 2-3 activities they were involved in at WHS/community.

This is not how we wanted the year to end for our seniors, but the Project Graduation committee is still planning to show our love for these fantastic kids as they graduate from Westlake High School. All funds collected for Project Graduation will go toward celebrating the registered seniors. More udpates SOON!

Please upload a photo of your child as a toddler (approximately 18 months - 3 years, showing their face), and it will be posted to the online Toddler Wall. If you delivered a hard copy to the school, it will be uploaded. Please note that your child's name will be posted online with the picture. Registration Extended to May 15!
Although Project Graduation may look different this year, our registered graduates will be celebrated with a gift, plus a fun raffle! Register for $150 by May 15 to be a part of Project Graduation 2020. You won't want to miss this!
