![]() MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL RAMSEY ![]()
COUNSELING / SUPPORT SERVICES ![]() SOPHOMORE MEETINGS are next week! Parents are invited to join their student during English class on March 11 or 12 (click here for schedule times and locations). Students will receive a transcript and GPA for the first time and we will break down that document; we will review PSAT scores from October and discuss how to make use of those scores. We will review surveys in Naviance that students have taken to gain insight into possible careers, and we will discuss college admissions, including how to use Naviance as a tool to explore colleges. Are there topics you hope we cover? Or questions you'd like us to answer? Fill out this form and we will do our best to incorporate them. Counselors will host a parent night for Junior students and their parents on Monday, March 30 at 6pm in the PAC. There will be a panel of current seniors and a panel of college admissions representatives to help shine a light on best practices for the college admission process.
Save the date: April 16 is the National College Fair held at the Palmer Events Center at 6pm. This is an excellent opportunity to visit with several hundred colleges from across the nation. See a list of schools that will be there are register to attend here.
