WHS Swim and Dive

The Westlake High School Swim and Dive Team is very dedicated to helping our community and with the destruction and disaster of Hurricane/Tropical Storm Harvey. Shelters are now asking for tote bags, grocery bags and backpacks so people have something to carry other donations in. Other supplies such as hygiene products, and blankets are also in high demand. We will be receiving donations in the bins that can be found in room 340 starting on Monday September 4th. The drive will run until Friday September 22nd and all donations will be given to the shelters in highest need.

Things you can donate:
  • Backpacks
  • Tote Bags
  • Reusable Grocery Bags
  • Toothbrushes/Toothpaste
  • Blankets
  • Soap
  • Care Packages

Here is the link to Mayor Adler's information on how to create a care pack for donation ( We also want to promote written letters of encouragement to families that have been displaced by Harvey. Due to the extent of the destruction that is still ongoing, many of the people we know and love have been affected by this devastation.
