2018 Austin Lakes Elite Showcase

Sharad Sood Memorial Tournament

2018 Austin Lakes Elite Showcase has become one of Texas' top high school soccer tournaments. Seven of the top 15 ranked teams in the state are coming in to play Thursday through Saturday, with some top quality soccer to be on display.

This year, the varsity division has been added to our Annual Sharad Sood Memorial Tournament. Sharad was one of the best soccer players who every played at Westlake, playing on varsity all four years. Sharad tragically passed away in a car accident in 2010, and WHS, along with his family, have honored him with an annual tournament in his honor. Proceeds from this tournament go towards an annual scholarship that the Sood Family has created in Sharad's name, which is awarded to a Westlake student.
