WESTLAKE TENNIS COACH GARNERS STATE, SECTIONAL AWARDS

Westlake High School Tennis Coach Kim Riley has been named the State Coach of the Year and Southwest Sectional Coach of the Year by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS).   

 

Riley has led the Chaps to district and regional championships and the state tournament consistently, with numerous state championships in boys and girls singles and doubles competitions. Under her guidance, the Chaps won the 2007 state team title.

This season, Westlake Tennis has seven moving on to compete in the State Tournament May 18-19. This is the second most to qualify since 2008 when the Chaps had eight moving on to state.
